Take-back of waste electrical equipment
Electrical and electronic equipment and its components must not be disposed of with household waste. They contain recoverable materials and, in part, substances that can harm health and the environment.
Where to hand in old equipment
You can hand in old equipment free of charge at municipal collection points. Beyond that, distributors above a certain size are obliged to take equipment back.
Take-back by us
As a producer within the meaning of the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act we take back, free of charge and for proper recycling, old equipment and old parts you have replaced with a new part bought from us.
Send old parts, with sufficient postage, to: IPC-Computer Deutschland GmbH, Hauptstraße 37, 77960 Seelbach, Germany. Please enclose a note saying this is a return for disposal and not a complaint. Your local municipal collection point is usually the shorter route.
Please erase your data first
You are responsible for erasing personal data from old equipment before returning it. Please also remove batteries where they can be removed without destroying them, and return those separately - see the "Battery information" page.
What the symbol means
The crossed-out wheeled bin on a device means it must be disposed of separately from household waste at the end of its life.
Registration
We are registered with the German stiftung elektro-altgeräte register (stiftung ear). Our WEEE registration number is DE 92873960.
